We Started With a Question Nobody Was Asking

Why does mobile search still feel broken for local businesses?

Back in early 2023, we noticed something weird. Vietnamese businesses had beautiful websites that completely failed when someone searched from their phone while walking down the street. The gap between desktop rankings and mobile reality was huge.

So we decided to fix it. Not with some grand vision or fancy mission statement. Just practical work focusing on mobile-first SEO that actually moves the needle for businesses trying to connect with customers.

How We Got Here

The whole thing started when a coffee shop owner in District 1 showed us her analytics. Desktop traffic looked great, but mobile users were bouncing within seconds. Her site loaded fine on our laptops but crawled on actual phones with real network conditions.

That coffee shop became our first real test case. We stripped down everything, optimized for actual mobile behavior, and watched her foot traffic increase by 40% over three months. Not because of magic, but because people could finally find her location and hours without waiting forever.

Mobile search isn't just desktop search on a smaller screen. It's a completely different behavior pattern that most businesses still don't understand.

By mid-2024, we'd worked with 47 local businesses across Ho Chi Minh City. Each one taught us something new about mobile user behavior in Vietnam's market. The patterns were clear once you knew where to look.

The People Behind the Work

We're small on purpose. Two specialists who've spent years figuring out mobile search instead of a big team trying to do everything. This way, you actually talk to the people doing the work.

Mobile SEO Specialist

Linh spent five years at a digital agency before getting frustrated with generic approaches. She started tracking mobile search patterns in 2022 and hasn't stopped since. Her background in behavioral psychology helps decode why mobile users act differently than desktop users.

Mai Nguyen, Technical Implementation Lead

Technical Implementation Lead

Mai came from web development and got tired of building sites that looked great but performed terribly on real devices. She focuses on the technical side—speed, structured data, and making sure Google's mobile crawlers actually understand what they're looking at.

What Guides Our Approach

These aren't corporate values printed on a wall. They're practical principles that came from working with real businesses and seeing what actually matters.

Test Everything on Real Devices

After a client's site looked perfect in Chrome DevTools but failed on actual Samsung phones, we learned this lesson hard. Now every optimization gets tested on at least six different devices with varying network speeds. Desktop simulators lie.

June 2024

Focus on Local Context

Generic SEO advice from US blogs doesn't work here. Vietnamese mobile users have different search patterns, network conditions, and expectations. We stopped copying international strategies and started building our own data about this specific market.

September 2024

Transparent About What Works

We had to tell a potential client their budget wouldn't support the work they needed. It felt risky, but they appreciated the honesty and came back three months later ready to start properly. Setting realistic expectations builds better relationships than overpromising.

Measure What Matters

Rankings are nice, but they don't pay bills. We shifted our focus to metrics that connect to actual business results—calls from mobile search, direction requests, and form submissions from phone users. That's what our clients care about, so that's what we optimize for.
